Aldi cinnamon rolls together with warm fried apples for a dessert or brunch treat. 🍎🥮
Ingredients
(Makes about 8 rolls)

1 can Aldi refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

3–4 firm apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Gala)

3 Tbsp butter

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

1 tsp lemon juice
-
A splash of vanilla extract (optional)
Directions
1️⃣ Cook the Apples

Peel (if you like), core, and slice apples into wedges.

In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter.

Add apples; cook 2–3 min until they just start to soften.

Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Stir well.

Cook 5–7 min, stirring occasionally, until tender but not mushy.

Add vanilla if using, then set aside (keep warm).
2️⃣ Bake the Rolls

Preheat oven according to package instructions.

Arrange cinnamon rolls in a greased baking dish.

Bake until golden and cooked through.
3️⃣ Assemble & Serve

Place warm rolls on plates.

Spoon fried apples (and their syrup) over the top.

Drizzle the icing that came with the rolls over everything.
