Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms

Here’s a simple and flavorful recipe for Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms—perfect as a side dish, topping for steak or toast, or just to snack on!


🍄 Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms

📝 Ingredients:

  • 500g (1 lb) whole mushrooms (white or cremini), cleaned and trimmed

  • 3–4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary (or 1 tsp dried)

  • Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar

  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or grated parmesan


🔥 Oven Method (for classic roasting)

1. Preheat Oven

  • Set your oven to 200°C / 400°F.

2. Prepare Mushrooms

  • Place mushrooms in a large bowl or straight on a baking sheet.

  • Toss with:

    • Melted butter

    • Olive oil

    • Minced garlic

    • Salt, pepper, and herbs

3. Roast

  • Spread mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet (lined with parchment or foil for easy cleanup).

  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until mushrooms are golden, tender, and slightly crisped on edges.

4. Finish

  • Optional: Drizzle with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar after roasting.

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or parmesan if desired.


🌬️ Air Fryer Option

1. Toss all ingredients as above.

2. Air fry at 200°C / 400°F for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.


🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • On toast with ricotta or cream cheese

  • As a steak or chicken topper

  • With pasta or risotto

  • Inside wraps or grain bowls
