These homemade air fryer pizza rolls

Awesome choice! Homemade air fryer pizza rolls are super easy to make, crispy on the outside and gooey inside. Here’s a quick, from-scratch recipe using store-bought dough (or you can make your own).


🧀 Homemade Air Fryer Pizza Rolls Recipe

🕒 Total Time: 20–25 minutes

Makes: About 12–16 rolls (depending on size)


✨ Ingredients:

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough or pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ cup pizza sauce (marinara or your favorite)

  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup mini pepperoni or finely chopped regular pepperoni (optional)

  • Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Olive oil or cooking spray


🔧 Optional Fillings:

You can swap or add:

  • Cooked sausage

  • Mushrooms

  • Bell peppers

  • Olives

  • Spinach

  • Fresh basil


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Prepare Dough

    • Roll out your crescent or pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.

    • Cut into small rectangles (about 2.5″ x 2.5″).

  3. Add Fillings

    • Add ½–1 tsp pizza sauce, a pinch of cheese, and a bit of your chosen toppings to the center of each square. Don’t overfill!

  4. Seal the Rolls

    • Fold the dough over the filling and pinch edges shut.

    • Gently roll into a ball or rectangle, making sure all seams are sealed (use water if needed).

  5. Lightly Oil or Spray

    • Brush the tops with olive oil or spray with cooking spray.

    • Optional: Sprinkle with Italian seasoning or garlic powder.

  6. Air Fry

    • Place rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer (leave space between).

    • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Cool & Serve

    • Let cool for a couple minutes (filling will be hot!) and serve with warm marinara or ranch for dipping.


📝 Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket — cook in batches if needed.

  • Use a bit of flour or water to help seal the dough if it’s sticky or popping open.

  • For a shortcut: Use egg roll wrappers or wonton wrappers instead of dough — just seal and air fry!
